 Problems with a Forum
I realized today as i was cruising down in Biloxi Marsh today making a 60+ mile run that this forum has severely affected my confidence in my engine.
I guess because all you read on here is about someone breaking down, negative comments, which i have made myself, and other things that may cause you to always have a feeling of impending doom.
Well i have to say, with now 80 hours on the gator tail, havent had any major issues besides that annoying vibration which I've made a few changes to help with that. One being a new fat fluffy grip, another being a small three blade prop.
Fyi, for 60 miles i burned 5 gallons of gas. I kept the RPMs around 3200-3400 which had me around 21-23 mph.

Pretty long run dude. I have owned 2 gator tails. A 2013 25 hp Subaru and now a 2010 35 stage 2. Neither have had vibration whatsoever. Both have driven like outboards (except a lot of tiller torque with the 3 blade).

If you wanna have an awesome time and maybe stay in a room where children were conceived on one side and someone got stabbed over an 8-ball on the other come on down I got a can of raid.

Yeah only had the 3 blade on with my bow fishing platform and the generator in the boat, along with 2 other guys. May do a lot better without all that additional weight.

 Re: Problems with a Forum
What's there to worry about? If the engine craps out are you going to fall out of the sky? Don't worry about it I've seen numerous modded and stock motors crap out, I've always been lucky that when I cracked blocks I wasn't on the Ms side of Hopedale waiting for a tow.
