Im looking at getting a 16x44 Gdsd, with a stage 1 23hp Gdsd. What are your thoughts on this? id use it on the upper-middle texas coast, and in lakes all across the state. It would also be used for fishing(both bow and rodnreel). It has around both boat and motor are 09' and have around 50 hours. This would be my first boat. Thanks Stephen |

should be a good set up you should see mid 20's. I have a 1744 thats .100 thick with a stock 23 and I see 22ish deep water +/- depending on chop 24-25 shallow with 2 people and fishing load. My hunting load 2 guys 150, 220 75LB lab, 75lb pop up blind 4 dz deeks and misc gear runs 19. For being a skinny boat it is pretty stable It is very comfortable fishing 2 guys. |

If you're not worried about refuge restrictions then bite the bullet and get a big block now. It will be cheaper in the long run. |

My 1648 gd with stock 23 sd will run around 22 deep water 2 people light gear. It's fairly stable bowfish on the front deck and have had no problems Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
