I think I could handle an office job with a nice sexatary, might get a little hot. As for the physical work keeping me young I've been doing this for about 30years ain't too much left that's young.

Not allowed to take any pics so i have none to show, but I work in a power house on a black liquor recovery boiler. The chemicals we recover from the process melt down and come out the bottom of the boiler at 1800-2000 degrees. The floors I work 90% of the time range from a cool 110 degrees at night and up to 130 degrees during the day in the summer time. Winter is actually nice, during the ice storm we had this year when it got down in the single digits all I was wearing was a t-shirt under my fire retardant jacket. |

Oh I don't miss those days in a power house! I welded boiler tubes for a dozen years. That was a miserable job. Finally wised up and got in the fire service. If you hadn't heard, all we do is watch tv and drink coffee.. |

I've been here for the past 9 years. Seems like it is always 10 degrees hotter on the island. I worked in the field for 7 years and always liked to be active. Now for the past 2 1/2 years I've been in the office and it is definatly making me a lazy sumbitch.
