My hull is base coated with PD Dead Grass. I want to camo it in Nat Gear and plan on going with Styx River stencils. My question is I see all kinds of Nat Gear. I know it's 2 stencils and thinking it would need to be 2 more colors on top of this. Either a darker brown and then a lighter brown putting this base coat in the middle, or going with a lighter brown and a maybe an OD Green for the highlights. I don't want to make the boat any darker than it is, and would really prefer to not have to repaint the base coat unless the results are going to be suspect. Weigh in...

I would recommend using a light tan for the random blobs and then cobblestone (I think that's the name) for the final stencil. It's a real dark charcoal color, close to black.

I used fall brown for the blobs and it's a little too orange looking for your base coat I believe. I think any camo you choose will make it appear darker (which I prefer). Good looking rig. Who built it ?

This is fall brown and black with a grass overlay. Pretty dark. But like I said I prefer it.

I like that paint full throttle .. In the coming weeks I'll be applying my GG and repaint ing boat also .. Thinking of doing a nat gear also
