I just pulled my boat off the trailer and flipped it to put on some gator glide and noticed where it sits on my trailer the bottom is dented and hooked at the transom. Boat is a 1750 gator trax intimagtor. Has this happened to anybody else? |

You trailer bunks need to sit under your runners or that will happen |

When I get my new rig I think I'm gonna replace the bunks with 2x6 bunks for more area. |

Yea I'm gonna move them over now that I've noticed it. It's a little late though and don't think it should bend this bad from trailer since the boat is made for runnin over stuff |

Boat is a 2010 with about 130 hours. Every time it's on the trailer it's strapped down and not thrown around |

Do your boards run pass the transom? |

I honestly can't remember but I'm pretty sure they stick out about 1 inch behind transom |

Not sure how thick bottom is. Is there a way to tell from serial number or anything |

Talked to kent at gator trax and he said it's from running over stuff and not from my trailer. He told me to use lab metal to fill in the hooks on the transom. Has anybody used this stuff? I would be puttin it down then the gator glide on top |

If it were me, I would turn it over, beat them out the best I could, GG it and roll on. |

Also some run trailers that are over rated for the load they are carrying. You don't need a 3000 lb rated trailer for a 1200 lb rig, the suspension is too stiff to work properly and just beats the hell out of a boat. |

Never heard of this happening from the trailer but that being said , why move the front of the bunks only? Towing them in a little in front so they are crossing several ribs over the length of the hull? ![]() |

The runners on my trailer do not extend all the way to the back of the hunt deck. It has a .125 bottom. Should I extend my boards? No dents as of now but it's new. |

Definitely best to have the bunks extend past the back of the boat. I made sure I had plenty of room to move my winch forward so the whole boat would be on the bunks |
