Went run my boat today for first time in few weeks. Had my lab with me we'll another boat with a dog passed and he went
Crazy and knocked over my seat /ice chest and all of a sudden I get of something rancid and look on my brand new installed hydro truff and little while and pink specks all over the floor in some kind of liquid we'll I stop and when I open it I threw up there was a pack of bologna that was in there for 3 weeks since I went fish and it was full of maggots and it spilled all over my floor I hurry up and close it and throw it on the bank to get it out my boat I even took my trolling motor Bayreuth box and filled up my boat all the way to try and disperse it but I still I can't get the smell out of my boat and it smells BAD I was gagging all the way back to the landing and even when I got back to the house it was still strong how can I get this smell out

I would put the plug in and fill it with water until the floor is covered, maybe add some pine sol or something similar then leave it out in the sun for a few days. this is how I clean my ice chest when they reek of death.

I will never be able to eat bologna again shit was nasty the smell was even on my clothes I'm scared bleach will discolor the truff

Kids these never clean up after they use something and thanks for littering in our lovely swamp

The bad part is is was not even my food I brung a guy from work and he left it in there. When we got back we had to hurry and clean the fish and completely forgot about that and I never bring that kinda stuff with me I always stop at the store on the way and get something to eat. You can assure ya self new rule in my boat no bologna in my boat

Scrub it down with dawn and water, then let it sit in the sun a few days. The sun is just as strong as bleach.

Ima clean it today ima have to scrub all my life jackets cause they are neoprene and my hatch even got the smell in it

vinegar and water mix together spray and let sit then wash off and repeat untill smell is gone

Might not hurt to make a quick phone call to hydroturf and ask them about putting a bleach/water mixture on it, or what they would recommend.

vinegar wont pull out the color or harm it in any way use it to kill pet odor's in my wifes suv

X2 on the vinegar, used it when a skunk sprayed me. Also try concentrated lemon juice, it works good.

I'll let y'all know what works ima try soap and water first

Just got done cleaning. Out the boat. 3 step process hope it works
1 went to car wash and pressure washed it and used the brush to clean it
2 went back home cleans the shit out of it it with dawn scrubbed it down and rinsed it out twice
3 drain all water plug up the hole and refill with fresh water and pine sol let it sit for couple hours and rinsed it out again now it's sitting in the yard in the sun for a day or two hope it works it smells like lemons right now

Get some baking soda. Everybody put a box in there frig to take the smell out. Hell I used some at work cause the garbage can smelled like 6 cans of shark shiit. Bleach is gonna make it smell like bleach for along time.
