Bought the kit a few days ago. I didn't know what to expect since I haven't seen any pictures of the install. Cost was around $120, easy install and now I can run a 2nd switch to my grab bar. Trim runs smoother, faster and now I won't be burning up switches.IMG_20140714_192809168.jpgIMG_20140720_091855631.jpgIMG_20140718_102551284.jpg 1756 Phowler 36PD |

Nice, those reversing solenoids are what Prodrive converted to. Mich better than the ole hd rocker switch |

Very nice. On my old motor I had probably 250 hrs with the original rocker switch for the trim and never had an issue. I wore out the rubber weather cover but never a switch issue, but several people have. I hope my current ones treat me the same. |

Will, for sure..I'm just not a fan of the vinyl cover. Last year I bought a "reversing solenoid", ended up being relays inside...those didn't last too long 1756 Phowler 36PD |

Yes but that is a true reversing solenoid and not a pack of relays, I did the same thing to my old one. ProDrive uses Trombetta's. |

I noticed lately when in something thick I have to hold the trim button for 3-4 seconds before it starts responding |

Big boxy switch on stick with wires going straight from it to the trim motor is old style. I can post more tomorrow from my desk top. |
