 line equipment for gator hunting? What string/rope is good for line setting. It will be attached to a t post and also hook. Is there a website to order it from? One guy told me he just uses rope but I dont know Id like something a little more made for the purpose.

Re: line equipment for gator hunting? I go with a guy sometimes and he uses the the black tarred twine. The sizes are are like wire(#12,#14 etc...).so I'm not sure the exact size but I think it's like 1/4" or just a hair smaller.

Re: line equipment for gator hunting? I use regular twine that they sale at academy that people use for trout lines it's rated for like 1000 pounds never had one pop yet and I've caught some monsters
