 Question about tall or short transom
What are the pros and cons of both tall & short transom.

I've owned two short transom boats and still have one I use for fishing but won't buy another one.
Even though I've had the short transom boat with an outboard on it for several years, I still have to be paying attention to make sure I don't come off plane too quickly and put water over the top of the transom. I have a tall transom boat that my mud motor sits on and have never had to think about that ever happening. A tall transom holds back the backwash a lot better.
