Post Boat stereo?
Looking for an affordable stereo system for my boat what you guys running and how do you like them. Also if you have any pics of the set up I wouldn't mind seeing them. Thanks

For my last boat I went to academy and bought a dual CD player which came with (2) 6.5 in speakers and all the hardware to install and also bought a pair of dual 6x9's......I had a little over 200 dollars in it.......no problems hearing it at WOT

I also went to academy and bought a sony instead and put in my other boat academy is the cheapest come with the radio and two 6x9's just had to go buy a housing to put the radio in so it won't get wet

Don't get duals, you can find a good set of marine speakers for under 80 bucks, I went with Polk audio, think they were 60 bucks, then a clarion marine head unit with Bluetooth. This allows control of Pandora and slacker or any other on phone through the head unit. Cost 150, to me the dual just sound like crap.
