mount a spotlight on grab bar. share your ideas
i want to mount a handheld spotlight on top of my grab bar. it needs to be able to rotate, be removable, and secure enough to stay in position.

Sterns multi mount or something similar might work.

Use a round light from Seelite, and just turn it as needed.

Re: mount a spotlight on grab bar. share your ideas
I bought the RAM spotlight. i like the mounts but the light itself is weak. It is more of a floodlight and illuminates out to about 50 yards. I called them and they said to switch out the lamp with any par 36 bulb. Might end up sending the whole thing back but before I do, I'll ask. Any experts out there on par 36 bulbs and which one would give a better, focused, narrower spot beam?

Just found a couple of more options. Whelen par 36 surface mount looks like it uses a mount similar to RAM, will see if it fits a RAM. This one is expensive.
Bass Pro has a Optronics Blue Eye Beam Deckmount. Is inexpensive, will need to weld a flat piece to grab bar to mount.
