I am coming down to Buras area in couple weeks and I need to know if anyone knows of any lodging in that area? Someone said something about some lodging above bars in that area. Idk....any help would be great. Thanks |

Joshuas Marina, Empire Inn. How long u staying. There are a couple houses for rent also, not too expensive either. |

Clara shady hideaway it's double wide trailers but it's located directly across baptiste collette good duck hunting if that's the reason for coming down |

Good condos at Cypress Cove Marina with a restaurant/bar right there for you. Lots of good people hanging around there (one in particular with infinite knowledge of Baptiste Collette). Also, you can keep your boat in the water right there, and they now have their live bait shop open. Otherwise, Lighthouse Lodge & Villas is a good place, I'm told. Just up the road a bit... |

Venice has a lot more options than Buras. Buras has a few decent ones also. |

Just booked the room. Fired up! I have fished tons of bow fishing tourneys on that water all the way from Arkansas, but have never pole fished for Reds FIRED UP! |

Ended up in Venice @ Cyprus Cove. Pretty nice place. Enjoyed the chase of some Red Fishing and Bowfishing. There was a lot of local guys there for Teal season opener. So we just tried to stay out of the way and do our thing. A few pics from the weekend. Thanks for all the help guys. I hope yall that live down in that area never take that area for granted I have only been there 4 times, but I think about those waters alot. |
