I have a short transom 16x36 1/8' aluminum hull…will a 25 hp gatortail weigh too much to put on the ass end?

My buddy has a big block longtail on his that size and they weigh more. I'd say you're safe as long as sides arnt too low

I had a 27 PD on a 1636. You will be fine.

^^ haha there should be a disclaimer at the bottom of every post you make regarding small hulls with heavy motors. It should read something like "let it be known that the aforementioned information is referring to a motor/hull combination that wound up on the bottom of not one, but two bodies of water"

Had a 16/36 Welbuilt with a 25GTR. Stock this thing would flat out run. Scared the hell out me though, the guys called it Lil' Peppe. It would run with the 35's .
