socket set (metric and standard) phillips flat head Crescent Wrench Cell Phone I have actually had an issue early on with my briggs where my rocker boss stud came loose and the push rod fell out while running. With the above, pulled it to a sand flat, pulled the valve cover and saw what it was. Used the sockets to tighten the stud back up, reinstalled the pushrod, and used a piece of saw grass as a feeler gauge to set the lash. It was good enough and close enough to get me back to the landing. |

Combination screw driver, medium crescent wrench, multi-tool, spare trim switch, zip ties. It isn't a tool or a spare part, but the Honda BF2 tucked under the foredeck affords the most peace of mind. Second to it is a completely stocked ditch/survival bag. I never launch the boat without both of them on board. |

I cant believe none of you coonasses have said flashlight yet.. My tools ALWAYS include a good flashlight. But the most useable tools are a 9 in 1 screw driver, needle nose pliers, crescent wrench, zip ties and flashlight. |
