 GTR on a Go Devil
Its about time for a buddy of mine to repower his boat and wanted me to ask if any of you guys seen this set up and can tell me how it performs or an idea of how it would perform? He has a 16x60 Go Devil boat and thinking about slaping a GTR 35 on it. Thanks for any info you can give

Re: GTR on a Go Devil
Had a 20x44 and a 18x44. Both ran great actually. My stage 1 motor with stage 3 heads pushed the 20' boat 33 mph

Re: GTR on a Go Devil
I got a cc stage 1 gtr on an 18/56. Just put a carb on the motor but have not Ben able to run it yet. Runs decent now runs 27/28 thanks to a new prop And removing all the wet foam under the deck.

Re: GTR on a Go Devil
I'm not a big fan of the 16' boats with mm's on them, even with the 60" bottom. Just seems like something is always a little off with them.

Re: GTR on a Go Devil
Would anyone recommend building up the transom and getting a tall transom gtr to put on a go devil boat?i hear the weight of the gtr is more than the gdsd so that would put the top of the stern closer to water. That's my train do thinking anyways.

Re: GTR on a Go Devil
If he doesn't have a hunt deck, the tall transom is the safest way to go.
