What do y'all use to clean yall's carb off with the out side of it I travel down a nasty muddy/dusty road every weekend to go to camp and my mikuni is brown the acc pump shaft is covered in dust and is all gummed up all the other parts are full of dust and mud Just wondering what I could spray it down with and then lube it back up with so it stays operating smoothly |

Spray it with some degreaser then rinse with fresh water. Spray just te moving parts with a lil WD-40 or equivalent. |

I too drive down dirt roads on a regular basis, I use carb cleaner to remove dust, and grime, then a light coat with silicone spray, |

I was worried the carb cleaner would dry out and crack the boot that connects carb to intake and the vacuum caps |

I have the big rain guard on it I don't know how it gets so dirty I think it's more leakin gas than dirt cause it has that look when gas leaks on alunimum That brown tint. But it's the whole carb. |

Another one for scrubbing fugging bubbles.... A quick wash down with brake cleaner won't hurt a thing either if you just wanted to wash off the funk. Dries quick, shouldn't hurt anything rubber. |

Aluminum wheel cleaner. Shines like new and wont hurt the plastic or rubber. |
