My Christmas present to myself was a 2015 Bayou 18V with a 35GTR, this isn't my first boat but it is the first with a MM. I am just looking for some advice to what to watch for or any helpful hints to getting full performance out of it. Being in Oklahoma I won’t run on too many mud flats, mostly shallow water and then the big water of the lakes. |

keep an eye on the crack case bolts, they sometimes back out a little. oil leaking around them is a giveaway. congrats on your new rig |

Nice rig , congrats. Honestly I wouldn't add any mods if your not really running in any deep mud. That's just me though. |

Just noticed the new, new GTR reverse plate/drive supports are solid now (i.e. no longer have those cutouts that I had seen pictures of cracked ones). I like that. |

Right, mine came new from gatortail with the bolt on plates along the sides to cover those cut outs. Must have been in the mix of bad ones that caused them to go solid there. |

No, it's a bandaid for the bad castings. The new ones come solid. |

I have that exact boat and a 2014 GTR35, I can tell you the trailer brackets on the side will most likely brake off as mine did about 6 months after purchase, also the inside flooring of my boat the camo has peeled up and now it is just a black rhino lined floor, I spoke with express dealer he says they can fix it for free for me but be a six month to eight month ordeal.
