The senate will never ratify this as long as it is not politically expedient . However we could get another executive order handed done from the Marxist in Chief. This is why everyone need to stay with the NRA and give a little extra when you can. I know it seems they hound you to death sometimes but they must and they are our loudest voice!

UN says that it was ratified by the US on September 25, 2013.

It's also not about taking law abiding citizens guns away, it's about preventing illegal sales of weapons (it lists tanks, artillery, helicopters, assault vehicles, etc, as well as small arms).

Be careful not to get riled up by asshats on the internet

I read the bill, but before I get into this argument, I will read it again. Last pass, it sure looked like a treaty so that countries wouldn't sell arms to militant groups.
:And obviously I'm pinheaded, I'm arguing on the internet!
 ^^

It doesn't specify US citizen, that's where the ambiguity falls, it does exclude them neither. I'm sure this is just an outline of the bill, correct me if I'm wrong. Anyhow any laws be it the UN or US, banning anything to do with gun will only work against us and for the anti gun lobby. The good news is, I don't believe anyone is going to have much success in disarming Americans. At least not Americans that know how to use their weapons. I will guarantee this ol'boy will die in a free nation, can't speak for what comes after that!
