I know a guy that has sold 2 and has one in stock the last time I checked. Seems like its a good unit but sure does have a lot of cast alum on it.

Cavitation plate looks shorter on these than I remember. Foggy memory or have they tweaked 'em?

Damn I want one lol, idk I guess it's just the look of it that satisfies my feelings on the price of these things, sure looks more like 8k worth of R&D and engineering over all the others. The rest remind me of a backyard venture thus far. They all work fine, just overpriced in my opinion.

Gator tails are great, don't get me wrong. They're the tried and true and obviously have a huge place in many hearts, they work as they should and that's good enough for most people's standards.

But with that said, these guys are pushing the envelope with this new stuff. I'd rather have a gearbox style FNR over a funky planetary/brake caliper rigged up looking setup ( IF it proves to work and last). That's just me personally, no matter which brand or whatever, I like the direction they're taking things. Since they're priced similarly with other brands, I'll be taking my chances with one hopefully for next season.

Has anything changed in the design, or just the name? Looks like the casting is the same on both lu.
