I'm looking to get a good GPS to mount on my boat for under $600. I can't make myself spend a $1000 on the Lowrance that I really want. What do you have/recommend? |

I have a Garmin 541. Very user-friendly. I have the model before this current one that is out now. |

Just got the Garmin echo50s with lake view direct from Garmin for $450. Haven't mounted and used the transducer/sounder yet but like the gps. |

I have three of the Garmin units on two different boats and I really like them. The nicest one is on my Prodigy but the little woman got it for me for Christmas and it is really nice. The flats boat has a 541 on it and it is almost as nice for a lot less money. |

Not my new one. I went with West Marine and they have a replacement warranty that is through them not 3rd party and I caught it on sale for the same price. |

Anybody have any experience with the Garmin echoMAP 50dv. Is it the same as the 50s except it has downview? I have found a brand new one for $350. Thinking about jumping on it. |

Lowrance elite 4hdi on a ram mount. Go mine for 199 on sale. Works great even without the mapping card. But with the card it couldn't be any better for what I need. |
