 Question for copperhead people

Post Question for copperhead people
Does anyone know if it's possible to put a bigger power head on the same copperhead frame?
My buddy has a 18hp copperhead on a 12ft boat but fixin to move up to a 16ft and was wondering if he could take that 18 block off and set a 23 on there. And im sure that would mean a different geared pully..Just didn't know if copperhead head could interchange engine blocks.

I believe they use the same frame for the 18 and 23. You would need new top gear.
I just sold my 18hp copperhead. Kinda wonder what a 25hp Subaru robin EFI (same motor gator tail uses for their 25) would do on the copperhead frame. I think copperhead is about to come out with a 25 kohler engin
