I've built 3 longtail motors from the MMM eBay plans, and all performed great. I have sold them, thinking that I would eventually build a short tail/ surface drive instead. That longtail was hard to maneuver through timber. Anywho, has anybody here ever purchased the plans and/or built a motor from the short tail plans on eBay? I was thinking about ordering a copy, but am hesitant because I can't find any info on anybody ever building the motor. The seller, of course, says the motor works great. Go figure. I was wanting an unbiased opinion before buying the plans. Thanks in advance.
