I know a couple people that have dealt with them and haven't heard any complaints. I will be dealing with them when I pay my truck off if my job picks up by then.

Well I already got the boat. Worst boat buying experience ever!

First off the finance guy took me as a complete joke when i told him i wanted to buy a new pd. Finally got him to order what i wanted. drive 5 1/2 hrs to pick up the boat. And it was on a flat bed trailer only the hull, with another boat on top of it. (Kind of pissed me off after he promised it be done by the time I got there). So I go burn 3 hrs after filling out paper work waiting on my boat to get the motor put on and put on a trailer. (Galvanized/ salesman talked me out of a aluminum) regret it already. Finally got on the road. Got home and I notice a tire is bad on the trailer. It's splitting all the way around in the middle. So I buy another tire. Now I've had the boat for 3 months. Just received the TX number and card last week. Still haven't gotten The plates for it yet.... Idk if I'm wrong but for the amount of money I paid for it you'd think they would be more on top of their game...

Sorry for the rant. Hope yalls buying experience goes better for yall.

I'd buy directly from PD and make the drive...

I know now. That was my one and only time I'll buy from there. I'll be going straight to LA for anything else.

Good to know how to work on it yourself too. Parts get here quick from PD. Almost always have em on your doorstep in the next day or so.

That is not good. The only reason I was gonna go there is the 30min drive from the house but after hearing that I might rather drive to LA. The people I know have dealt with them haven't had issues but they were all buying boats they had in stock.

I worked at the one in Tyler back in high school.. not the best set of guys to deal with besides Chris Knight. I have a feeling Chris didn't handle that deal for you fredbear

Chris Knight is no longer a part of H&W. He bought them out of the Tyler store and it is now Nautical Mile Marine in Flint (Tyler). A lot better than it used to be when it was H&W.

We are right around the corner from Nautical Mile Marine if you need work done to your boat or warranty work on your motor or decide to ever switch to a custom boat and/or a Gator-Tail!

Did you buy a boat on the lot, or have them custom order? ....Just got my trailer plate yesterday...

I ordered it through them and got the extended warranty through them, then went to PD and picked it up when it was ready.

Their service is awful. Way better off dealing with PD directly, getting the parts in the mail, and fixing it yourself if you at least have the mechanical aptitude of a 5th grader.
