Do you have a particular reason for dumping the excel? Havoc's are almost exactly the same as excels. |

Just getting smaller boat. Excels been good just getting smaller to hopefully gain little speed and be easier to get around in the timber! |

The havoc is a lot lighter and will cut a lot better. As for durability the jury is still out. They seem to hold up well if you drive like you have some sense. Cant just go around jumping shit for the fun of it. If you're gonna do that i would opt for the .125 upgrade. I drive one frequently and havent been able to make it slide yet. |

However they do NOT like vegitation. If you run any grass at all i would think gatorglide would be a must have. |

Not speaking from personal experience here, but a buddy of mine has the MST and he seems to feel that the "angle" of the step transom where it meets the hull is not shaped properly. He describes it as if he is plowing the mud in reverse. I guess instead of it going at an angle it's like trying to shove a brick through mud instead of a brick with a 45° angle on the back of it???????? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
