Since it appears Gator Tail does not sell one, does anyone know where I can find a very strong waterproof cover for a 37hp EFI Gator Tail? Thanks

I just use an outboard cover. Works great. Think for a 50hp

Since when does GT not sell covers?! I bought my soft cover from them when I got my new LU. Although I usually use a plastic barrel, cut to fit, when it's parked in the yard. I use the soft cover when I'm at the camp.

The Mudbuddy cover looks nice. Don't know how it would hold up though.

Just picked up one for my Prodrive from Walmart. It's a size 4 cover rated for 50hp to 115hp. Paid $17

I also use an outboard cover. Mine sits on the side of the house (sucks). I'm building a lean too here shortly for it. Cover lasted me about 2.5yrs. Time to replace

Thanks for the help... I sold my 35hp Hyper but didn't think it would fit the new Gator Tail 37EFI that I just ordered. I felt the control box on the handle wouldn't fit over the Mudbuddy 100mph cover, but seems as though other people say it does. Think I will wait and try the Mudbuddy cover and if that doesn't work I will purchase the outboard cover.

There's a lady up here that makes these for the Gatortail dealer for the control box. They're around $30.

I just had the handle tube diameter enlarged to ensure a gt handle box would fit in it.

I don't know of another cover that is waterproof, covers the handle, and you can trailer it down the highway without it flapping apart.

Those are really nice, but do they fit over an aftermarket exhaust and the reverse cover

Yessir. I just fold my handle up then throw the cover over motor and handle. I throw a bungee across the bottom to make sure it doesn't fly off on the road since the handle isn't in the sleeve.

I ordered a 50-115 HP cover for my motor and it fits well. After staring at the handle for a while, I took the nylon sleeve off of a folding camp chair and slipped it over the handle. Fit perfectly and sinches down tightly on the open end.

Redneck genius maybe. I'm a northerner but my family is from Tennessee so I guess it qualifies. lol
