 Weight on front
We went frogging last night and my ol lady was on the front of the bow catch'n em. She stayed up there while i ran to another spot and my boat was running almost 2mph faster with her sitting on the very front. Have an 1852 with gtr 35. Tank up front. I figured it would plow with more weight up front?

 Re: Weight on front
Once you get it up on plane, having the right amount of weight on the front bring the ass end up out of the water a little bit and allows you to run the prop higher in the water column without having to trim up as far. That puts the angle of the prop shaft more parallel with the water to give you greater thrust in the forward direction instead of at an upwards angle which just pushes the back of the boat down again! Also it changed the angle of the running surface so you just decreased drag on the boat.
All bullshit aside though it just balanced out better lol! Put 2 people up there it'll probably slow way down cause it's front heavy
