I have a 15 ft boat, I want the max power. Anyone has a 35 SD on a 15 ft boat? |

I had a 23hp Copperhead (very light, 130lbs) on a 1544 and it was perfect. Ran 26mph and flat out cruised since the whole rig was so light. I wouldn't put a 35hp on a 1544, I sometimes had water over the back on sharp corners or quick stops with my 23hp. |

Is it a riveted Jon boat, a welded Jon boat, or a mud boat? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I have a 32 on a 1644, ImO its nearly too heavy for my boat. I would think that 35 would definitely be too much on a 15 44 |

The Guy I bought my 31GT from had it on a 1436. But from the shape of this motor when I got it home, he was a bit on the ignorant side. My 1648 jon boat handles the 265# just fine. No squat to speak of and no bow rise when taking off. No back wash either. |
