Moved to new iberia louisiana at the first of the year was wondering if anyone had any advice they would like to pass along for ducks around this area. Not looking to get directions to your holes just new to the area and would like to shoot a few birds when the season rolls around. Asking this early so I can do some scouting b4 season starts. Thanks in advance for any constructive advice.

Just look for WMA's or NWR's around there and go look.
It's not hard

I know of several floating duck blinds you can hunt out of located on Section 16 land near Henderson, La.

Moved here from Alabama for work hunt public land there and Mississippi scouting is no problem. A couple guys from work are going to take me to the wax. The laws on what is public and what is not here can be a bit confusing

Be prepared to loose your mind cause theirs not a hole or blind that somebody isn't trying to hunt on weekends

Already planned on scouting some places around manderson. Have a buddy that I work with that has done some hunting around that area and he said he would ride with me one day. As far as looking for lights I've seen alot of people doing that back home and would rather do my own foot work lol. Weekends are covered though ill only be able to hunt during the week so I don't plan on encountering the weekend crowd.

I second the north flats of Henderson. Also, check out the school board property. You can shoot mallards in there and there are already blinds that you can hunt. Bring a yellow rain suit.

How do I know all this chit, I've never even been to LA! I'd be pissed if I lived around that F'er.
