hello everybody. joined forum awhile back to gather info on a mud boat. pulled the trigger with gator trax. got pictures today from mr. wayne and I think the boat came out great. waiting on motor to come in. it will mainly be used in cocodrie and dularge area as well as Toledo Bend. will update when I pick it up and give it a run through |

And yes I know there will be different opinions about that motor. Lol I went with what Wayne and Kent recommended to me when I was there laying out the boat. |

Ok after a long delay of in the delivery of the motor I was able to pick up the boat at the end of November. Picking up was the easy part. A Disney trip then Pittsburgh then Christmas I finally got it in the water 2nd week of January. I am very happy with the boat. Handling was just what I expected and its was a good day in Cocodrie. |

I have a plate welded on the trolling motor mount that gator-trax installed and the mounted the quick release to it. |

Thanks. I've been thinking about getting an xi5 and was trying to figure out how it would mount before jumping in. Do you have pics with the trolling motor off? |
