You won't want to build it ONTO the boat you'll want to build it INTO the boat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I know this and it needs to be braced well to hold the weight of a 35 sd |

Weldbilt only goes up to .100 I'm pretty sure. Could be wrong It's simple. get a mud motor. shoot ducks in the face. |

If you beef up the transom the boat will be fine. If your just using it for a marsh rig to get to a blind it will do ok , not great but ok. The hull will get hooks but if your just looking to get to a blind or shallow area to fish and not beating the hell out of the rest of the boat it will do ok. It will get hooks though but will be fine if your not looking to set any speed records. |

It's .100 thickness. I can't afford to sell it and get a $7000 mud boat. Besides if I have a hunt deck added it will still be cheaper than buying a mud hull. Also I like the way it handles, the smooth mud hulls slide too much to run the rivers or timber around here. |

Have you tried moving weight around in boat? I have a rivited Alumacraft 1648 .072 gauge rig I've run for 6 Yrs now. We moved rear seat forward 16" and built in a 12 gallon tank in bow and reinforced transom. Theres no hooks in hull and it will run mid thirties. Have modded MB BD 4500 2013 motor on it. Running a Hammer Prop. Heres a couple pictures. |

We the thing I'd I can't move the battery or gas tank with cutting holes in the walls or front deck. I found out it will run 700 to add a hunt deck. The same guy can take my drop deck and make a door, then he can make an aluminum fuel cell to go under the deck which move weight up front. And Denny I've had trouble with front end being too light so I added sand bags in the front and I'm going to take it out this afternoon to see how it runs. |

Sounds like a fantastic setup. You should definitely keep dumping money into it. |

Why not stick with what you have till you can afford a better hull. Wasting your money on that boat. Lol like putting 3k worth of speakers and rims on a piece of shit car . Niggering it up ! |

The sand bags made a huge difference on the way it squats. I still would like to move my fuel tank up front to help move weight around tho |

A hunt deck ain't gona change the way it squats. The boat will be the same length if its built in to the boat. Or longer if it's built off the back but the motor is still hanging off the back. Pods would lift the back bc they put floatation behind the weight of the motor. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Building a huntdeck into a hull is going to take some time and some coin to do it the right way. I would hold off for now, change your load plan up so you have more weight to the bow, save some money and get a hulll with hunt deck. |

I'm gonna end up moving my gas tank up front and possibly my battery. My wife took pictures of it in the water with me in it yesterday and I like the way it is right now |
