Floral City Airboat here in Florida carries the FS. I prefer it to ply due to weight & it's easily touched up. You can expect a gain of 1-2 mph after the application. |

The contact for the frog spit is Dusty_Dog_A shoot him a PM. The company is a local ship yard called washburn marine. You WILL HAVE TO REMOVE YOUR MOTOR OR ANYTHING OUT OF YOUR BOAT. They lift it off the trailer and tape it off and spray it. |

Post subject: | Re: frog spit |
yeah it will chip if you hit hard objects in the water. but it can be patched easily. I have had my bottom coated for a few months now and my bottom is fine. I'm tellin' ya its worth the money!!!!!!! |

have the it on my boat applied it myself not to bad just buy an extra gallon to learn with. the stuff is great you will really be suprised in the difference it makes sliding on vegies and mud try to push your boat in your yard before and after you put it on i think you will be suprised big time. |

can you put it on without flipping the boat over? CCs are not as easy to flip as a tiller hull. will it bond/ hold (whatever) to the boat just lifted and not flipped? |

Yeah I would like to see that 100 dollar frog spit job buddy!!!!!! Guys go a head and get your self a gallon and do it this way and when it comes out like sh!t give ol' dusty and darby a shout at washburn marine. I have 2 gallons sprayed on the bottom of my rig and I know how thick it its. 1 gallon in my book it not enough mills of thickness. |

I am really interested in putting FS on my boat. I run hard sandy bottom most of the time. Will it help in pushing off of sand bars, etc.? Does it give a little protection against hooks? |

Hmmm im kinda interested in this especially for 100 bucks not much to loose. Can you fill in hooks? that would be my main concern the bottom of my boat is really hooked up. If It would take care of that i might have to give it a try after the seasons over. |

Anyone have experience compairing the frog spit to steelflex? The Steel Flex folks have a filler that goes on before coating to fill hooks. |

If it's sprayable then a $20 gravity feed gun from Harbor Freight would do it so forget that $600 spray job. |
