 23 mud buddy
I have a 23 horse mud buddy surface drive on a 15/44 alumacraft. I just got the motor and put it on the boat. It is a tunnel hull. I am having trouble with the boat getting in plane. It's like the motor isn't getting the right water. Or even bogging down at times when I trim it down. I lowered it on a jack plate and still have the same problem. What could it be. The motor runs smooth so o feel like that parts ok. I wonder if the tunnel hull could be the problem or if I need to lift my motor higher. Help please!

 Re: 23 mud buddy
Lowering the motor on a tunnel hull will make it worse. Get a flat bottom boat
