The twist grip setup is from Drag Specialties as was like $20.. The cable is from Motion Pro I think and was like $40... I have all the information in my pm's on the old site but nothin here.. I'm bettin RC still has it though.. Send him a pm..

Never looked at this post. I think it is Drag Specialties part # DS-243127 (verify it is for 1" dia bar and single pull cable set up with 90 deg adapter).

Comes with heavy duty rubber grip. There is just enough room to clamp it on the tiller. Pin or just tape up the inner tiller rod to keep from spinning.

Motion Pro made the cable. I think it was 52 or 54" long. All I could find was " SC# 112727 " , I think they can find my order by that #. Or just let them know you need a cable for a single pull set up and a mikuni HSR carb (if that's what you got?), & the twist grip. Couldn't find a pre made cable over 42" anywhere? Don't lose the tiny barrel adapter they hide with the cable (goes on the swedged ball end of the cable to fit the barrel grove in the twist handle).

When you get it be sure to take the cruise control and chunk it right from the get go. Then add a new grip.....when hands are slimy, muddy or cold you can not get a grip on the plastic grip it comes with. I put a foam grip on mine off an old 4wheeler and zip tied it on and it works so so. Next time i run im adding some foam tape to see if its better.

To keep the stock 1"od ss bar in place i took the factory aluminum end. (the part that screws to the 1" bar), milled a hole so it would slide over the factory throttle stops.

If you didnt get a dang then out of this post ill add pic later.

PS you will love it..........thanks to RC for the leg work.

later

LOL, Appreciate the info Men! I got myself running for now, made a new linkage arm (kept it simple) and tied off a few coils on the governor spring to get my rpms back up (Damm if that wasn't some junk that briggs had on there, most if not all the pivot pins were nearly worn in half and springs eyes too! ). What I have now should hold up until I get the parts ordered and installed.

Thanks again!

Yeah, the "cruise control" thing didn't last but a few times and the grip needed some sports tape for grippage when mucked up. It takes motion pro a few days to make the cable and it was like 4 days shipping back from california.
