I have a 35 MD HD Stage 2. New prop pitch (1.5") added by Baggy's. I am hitting the rev limiter at 5200 RPM's. I think the gears are stock. Should I have the prop worked more or change gears? Hull is a 19 x 48 Mad Man square chine. I am running 33-34 at 5000+ rpm's. I have a 5200 max rev limiter.

38 and 50, I think. Deadbird would probably know for sure.

47, maybe. There was a chart on the mb site before they changed it. May still be able to find it on there or the bps site.

Mag 45. 38/48. Ive put 38/46 on a hot motor a year ago. But really your math/rpm seems high. How bout trimming down abit?

When trimmed down, prop is not half out of water.

Going to a 46 lower will drop roughly 400 rpm. You should judge your trimming up by at wich point you stop gainning mph. After that just rpms rise but its loosing bite.

That would be about 4600-4700
