 Title for MM??
Need some suggestions here to maybe send me the right way. I've got an 05 MB long tail I bought a year ago from an individual out of Iowa. Im in KS and all that is needed to register a boat is a bill of sale. I did get the info for the boat and trailer but never received anything for the motor. The guy said he didn't have a title and didn't know if they made anything for MMs. I didn't bother with it much because I was set with KS rules and good to go. Well heres the problem, I'm trying to sell it and have a buyer lined out from MO that says he needs a title for all 3 to register it. My question is do the MMs even have titles and if so would an 05 model have one? And where would a guy get a duplicate if that was possible? Any info is appreciated. Thanks fellas.

 Re: Title for MM??
I would start by looking up the KS and MO Parks and Wildlife departments (if that's who handles boat registration). Compare the two states and see what the differences are. The manufacture may be able to help you out on documentation.

 Re: Title for MM??
You don't have to have titles in mo when you buy from out of state. You do have to have a title if you buy from another MO resident. I got a longtail from a guy in AR all you need is a bill of sale and the guy in mo can pick on up from his county license bureau if he wants an official one

 Re: Title for MM??
My new mud buddy came with a certificate of origin, which you would take to your state and get a title for if needed.
