I'm wanting to know if there is anyone in central Arkansas from the board running a prodigy boat, specifically with a MB or GT on the back. If so, PM me I'd like to meet up and look it over sometime. I am in the market right now but want to see some firsthand and hear from owners. |

Dont see a lot of prodigy's around here. I saw one during teal season though and had to talk to the guy about it. He said he loved the boat. Turned good but not as good as a round chine but still carried a load well. He had a mudbuddy hdr on it and said it was night and day difference between it and the gtr he had before. Much less vibration and a much lower profile motor. Only thing he didnt like was the way the prop elevated when you turned. Said he had to trim down quite a ways to make a hard turn otherwise it would just blow out. |

the easier turning of the round chine is the only advantage you will find in a gator trax boat compared to prodigy. I have owned 2 gator trax boats and now a prodigy, it is far superior. |

Yeah i like my gatortrax but I wont own another. They dont carry a load well and honestly when the water drops that round chine will get you in trouble. With a tapered chine you expect to slide so you set up for it. With my round chine i went into a 90* turn at WOT because i had done it all of teal season. Only difference is that the water had fallen out a little and instead of biting hard and turning like i was expecting, the boat turned sideways but kept going in the original direction of travel. Shitty feeling when you're by yourself |

Believe me you can Make them slide. But the only way they are going to under normal conditions is to get reeeeal shallow. |

Really would like to try out a GTR if anyone nearby has one. I've been around the MudBuddy HDR's plenty. |

I liked the HDR I drove last year at Dave Donaldson, drove it a good bit. But the dang handle is so low you almost have to stoop down to drive it standing. And I mean stoop to an uncomfortable level. |

My gtr is like that. Its perfect sitting down but if you're standing up the handle is floating. |
