Throttle Lever Replacement on MB HD 35
Looking to replace or modify the throttle lever on my MB HD 35. What is the best replacement for comfort and ease of use. It get pretty uncomfortable when making a run for 20-30 mins holding on to that stock lever. Has anyone used the motorcycle style twist grip? Is the BPS Stainless replacement comfortable? Feel like I need one with a longer lever maybe?
Taking any and all suggestions! Thanks!

Re: Throttle Lever Replacement on MB HD 35
The bps throttle lever is pretty comfortable but any long trips and it gets uncomfortable as well. I thought about a twist grip motorcycle style, but I never tried it. Seems like it should work but when your in the thick shit having to work the tiller side to side to get out, it might not be so good. Which is the main reason I never tried it.
I also looked at a plastic grip that fits over a 4 wheeler grip and turns it into a twist grip but can easily be removed to go back to the thumb lever. That may be the ticket, but it's designed for a thumb lever. Maybe with some mods it would work for a mm lever?

Line the inside of the BPS stainless with a foam like a single strip of hydro turf

Her's a link to the atv twist I was talking about. Not sure if it could be modded to work on a mm or not but it gives you an idea of whats out there. http://www.cabelas.com/product/Handy-Th ... lsrc=aw.ds

The GT lever is the most comfortable one I have used personally. They have them for 7/8" and 1" handles.

Re: Throttle Lever Replacement on MB HD 35
Installed the BPS Stainless Throttle this weekend. Much better! Now I can Adjust trim and throttle with the same hand and hold on for longer without fatigue.
