I am going to possibly build or buy a Copperhead if I can't get what I want in a bare frame. |

There's a company that sells sd frames for small block motors called Mud Walker. I believe they are copperhead type(manual trim, no clutch etc) |

I am having Rick Aucoin build me a boat and I want a surface drive for it eventually. It will start life with a longtail and a 8hp Evinrude, then eventually it will get a surface drive. I actually want it to be manual trim and direct drive so it will be as light as possible. Thanks for the information, I will PM Golden Arm also. |

Bog Hog was offering a surface drive kit years ago, don't know if they still do, might check them out. |
