Motor is mounted. Haven't put the boat in the water yet but I already know 2 things.

1.) The 40 sounds way better than the 37. I mean from idle all the way to redline.

2.) I really like the new throttle setup. It's the squeeze lever setup and it is now standard on all big block Backwater motors.

Good lord lay off the man for being excited about his new motor, everyone gets excited when they get a new toy, its the reason we all spend money on this stuff. Frank I'm excited to here how the new 40 does, post up some videos when you get a chance to run it.

I just picked one up for my Hog Island. Still need to dial in a bit but runs great.

23 up river with dog in deep water. 26-27 (touched 28 every once and a while!) going down river. Pretty good for a longtail!
