I recently purchased a 1854/32hp prodrive X rig. The boat is super clean and the motor was not running. I now have it running 4200rpm wide open 1300idke rpm out of the water. Once in the water I got 22mph at 3750rpm with 2people. And 11-14mph with 4 grown adults and cooler/gas. Roughly 950pounds. I was not able to break over just plow. Do these speeds sound normal for a 32hp stock prodrive? Can i possibly change props to help get the load on plan? Shouldn’t i try any mods or should I just look for a 36/40hp motor to bolt on the frame? Thank you for any kind of help. I am new to mud motors. |

32 is underpowered for that set-up. |

You're fine, was referring to the guy trying to help. Double posts happen, just no point in diluting the discussion by separating them #CFFITR #TheGhostBoat #whoneedsphysicsihaveamudmotor |
