Post Hydro turf application?
I bought a roll of hydro turf off ebay for cheap. It doesnt have any 3M backing. What are the best ways to stick it to your boat that yall have seen hold up to time and abuse. Thanks in advance

Roll DAP contact cement on the back off the hydroturf and on the surface it's going on and let it set until it's tacky-almost dry. Then apply hydroturf and press it into place. Done....will not move or come loose

This is what I've done on Hydroturf and some imitation stuff. It has worked very well and held up for years.

Did mine with contact cement. Holds it great but reacts with the turf and allows it to expand a bit.

Loctite makes a spray adhesive that's good too. You're not trying to hold a car up in the air that's glued to the bottom of an airplane. The 3m stuff is fine, and is quite similar in bond strength to the stuff that comes preapplied. There are a half a dozen other options, too, that would work as well. Just pick one, clean the boat surface properly (which will matter more than whether you use contact cement, 3m spray, or elephant jizz, then apply and roll out.
