well, as my 36 has locked up and although I freed it up, I am scared of it and need a new engine. matter of fact I gave it away. I am wanting some feedback on the 40 briggs. are they blowing up? are they holding up? doesn't matter what outdrive it's on. either gonna go 37efi or 40, just seeing if anybody got an opinion on which way to go. |

I have right at 40 hours on mine currently and I've been very happy with it. Runs like a top just like my little 23. If it lasts as long as my 23 I'll be one happy customer lol |

If I have issues with it, then I'll deal with them. Until then, I'm going to continue to do my regular maintenance like I do, which has resulted in no problems thus far. |
