Anyone run a 36 prodrive on a 1644 go devil boat short transom run a 25 now don’t think extra weight be a problem but like know if anyone runs set up and how does ? |

It wont be a problem as long as you don't slow down too fast. I've run Big block prodrives on that size hull, and also a 15x44 with no issues. The weight difference between the 25 and 36 prodrive is minimal. |

Ive got a GD 1644 with a 35 horse GDSD on it no issues. Not even going WOT and cutting all the way back to idle. You've got a 25 horse outboard on it now? How does that run? |

wouldn't hurt to buildup that transom and run a tall transom pd. you gonna want it when moving in reverse. |

Was planing swap just my engine mine short shaft now hate to convert it to a long shaft also |
