Instagator hulls
Can anyone testify to how well the reaction chine performs in open water at wide open throttle? I tried the search but can't actually find what I'm looking for. I typically run a lot of timber and I'm curious if this type of chine helps keep from sliding?

Yes those round chines will cut hard. Lookup mudport on instagram. They run several in the woods

Re: Instagator hulls
I have an instigator with reaction chine and it performs excellent in deep and even shallow water. I'm only running a 25gtr so not sure your speeds compared to mine, but my buddy's WC Custom will put you in the bushes at WOT in turns. (Done it)

Re: Instagator hulls
That’s my old boat in the screenshots. It handled very well in all conditions I ever put it in including turning at wide open throttle. I had a gtr 37 on it.

Re: Instagator hulls
I finally took the plunge and bought it. Now I've got to swap this gtr over to it and go see what it will do

Re: Instagator hulls
I wish Jay was still making them; I'd buy another (larger) one.
