Looking at a 2020 40HDREFI for a 1860 F4. Will this have enough power to move it around with a full boat??? Just worried I will have to put a mod kit on it as i will be disappointed with power. Serious responses only please... |

Yes. A lot of ways to interpret that, though, based on your actual expectations. What's your definition of a full boat. Mine might be different. What's your definition of "move it around"? I want it to go 22mph+ with 3 guys and a load of decoy. I dont want to struggle to plain out in the marsh. |

You should be fine. Just for comparison I run a bone stock 35 hp Mudbuddy with over 500 hours on a Gatortrax 1750 and can run 22-23 with a 3man load and dog all day long. Original motor, heads, and all except for muffler, on my third muffler currently. |

I have a 1754 Gtrax hunt deck (18'8"X~56) with a bone stock GTR35 and I hunt with 3 guys, lab, decoys and easily get those speeds |

A load carrying prop will definitely help. But those speeds are likely attainable with that load/setup Sent from my SM-G960W using Tapatalk |
