Anyone have thoughts on these? Any particular brands they recommend or avoid? |

Agreed. Have used the same fuel without adding fresh gas after letting the tank sit from feb to june or july to october, with no issues and I don't run ethanol free. Fuel line gets replaced every 2 years whether it needs it or not, but I've never found bad gas in the carb bowl during my preseason checks, nor gunk buildup. I top off the tank when I hook up to the boat for use, and just let it sit when I'm done. Make sure you have a good fuel filter and run seafoam in every tank, should keep things nice and clean. No need to overuse, either. I run the amount listed on the bottle except for the last tank of the season when it's going to sit up, I double it. #CFFITR #mudmotor>physics |

I use seafoam and stabil. I also only use ethanol free gas. Even though ethanol free gas doesn't have the water and phase separation issues as E10, any unleaded gas will varnish a carburetor if it sits up for a long time. |

Also, Heet is solid for water in fuel (per project farm on YouTube so take that as you want). At like $2 a bottle I add some most every time just to be careful. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
