I know this doesn't pertain to mudboats but i have a 14 foot 1975 cajun hull with a 25 evinrude and at full throttle the front end diggs horribily....does anybody have any advice or tips ![]() |

Tried adjusting it it still doesn't help...i have the gas tank in the back and batteries! |

The hull isn't warped is it? Sounds kinda weird. I would think it would somehow have to be trim related. Is this a new package for you? It's done this as long as you've owned it? |

i had the motor on a 14ft lowe line hull and it did the same thing so i sold the lowe hull and picked this one up..the hull is warped or bend and i caint figure out y it is digging...could it possibily be the prop? |

Maybe, it would have to be way outta whack though. The transom angle couldn't be that far off on two different boats, ya think? I dunno man. Maybe one of these boys with a lil more experience will chime in here before too long. I went over the obvious. |

you probably have, but I have to ask -- Have you adjusted the transom angle adjustment rod? It sets the angle of the motor against your transom - it's a pin right at the pivot point of the motor. |

I havent adjusted the pin because i didnt kno it was there..im a newbie with outboards...no it is the rite transom for the motor |

Thats what I was meaning by adjusting the trim, I just didn't say it right, I guess. Oh well. That should fix the problem. |

Put a straight edge on the bottom of boat from transom forward, sounds like you have hook in the hull. If you see alot of daylite between edge and hull this could cause your problem. Not much you can do for it. |

well guys i think i found the problem the caviation plate was bent down rite behind the transome so im thinkin that this was y it was dragging..gunna go put it in the water tom and see what happens |
