Post Prodrive Winch Trim
Any of you guys still running the old style winch trim? I would like to see some close up pictures of how its done. How the winch is mounted, and how the cable hooks to the motor. I have a winch I could use if it was relatively inexpensive to adapt it to the motor. 500 bucks for the hydro is kinda steep right now. I tried searching and found a few pics, but nothing I could see clearly.

A pic would be great. I was trying to see how exactly the winch was oriented, and if I was gonna need some type of bracket. Thanks.

be sure to use the synthetic rope, it last alot longer than the stainless cable.

DA, on the synthetic rope, what do you use as a stop on the end of the rope?

Well so much for that. Prodrive doesn't carry the parts for them anymore. I'm sure I could fab up a bracket, but the roller on the backside would be what I'd be worried about. I was thinking I could just tie it off on the back hole, but was worried about it chafing. Any ideas?

Which bracket are you talking about?

The one on the right would be the most important. You looking to get rid of that setup? I figured we could make the bracket to hold the winch up, but the roller on the trim arm looked pretty important.
