 fuel tank size?????
Is a 6 gallon tank large enough for a 35 Vanguard mudbuddy HD? What kind of distance/hours can I get out of 6 gallons? Any suggestions would be helpful!

 Re: fuel tank size?????
I run a 6.5 and it's plenty for what I do. If need be for scouting or offseason riding around I will carry an extra 5 gallons in my boat and fill it up as needed.

Never Ran a Mudbuddy, but if I were you, I would have a min of 12.. 6 Gallons isnt alot..... You probaly going to average around 2 gallons an hour. maybe a little less. But again; I have never owned a Mudbuddy. My PD was aroudn 1.5 to 2 until I added mods. Then it was very Thirsty. But, I also ran it like it was stolen..

 Re: fuel tank size?????
If its possible that you will be out running all day then 6 gl will not be enough. And 2 gl per hour is about what I get on average.

 Re: fuel tank size?????
I don't really run all day in "fun run" type situations. I might run 20 miles at the most during hunt season. I always figured 1.5 gallons per hour on a 35 or 36 Vanguard at w.o.t.
I have run with a 6 gallon tank on my last four boats but I have a 9 now...mainly so that I can hunt two days in a row without filling and without worrying about it. But 6 with a 1 gallon emergency backup can has always worked for me.
