Post subject:  Looking for 1.5 inch Vented Cap for Fuel Tank

Does anyone know where I can get an 1.5 in. fuel cap that would screw on to a homemade tank.Would need to fit 1.5 in pipe threads or maybe a 2 in. cap and I could bushing up to it.Searched the internet but cant find one.

I would try liek a tractor place of some sort or like a tank rental place and see if you can pick up a vent cap from them, they have them on like 500GL diesel fuel tanks

until u find one, just get a alum/galv cap from the hardware store and drill a itty-bitty hole in it right above the threads. it will work fine till u get the cap u are looking for.

Just go to a Hardware store that sells Plumbing equipment..

We used to make them by tapping the alum or galv caps with these.

Just get a galvanized cap and drill a tiny hole in it and be done with it.
